Welcome! My name is John Skolak.
I have been involved in photography for about 17 years, mostly as a hobby.
About 6 years ago I became fascinated with the underwater world with all
the life that it supports, and all the possibilities of using photography
to bring images to everyone. I've worked on my underwater photography in
the Channel Islands NMS (with the Brooks Institute) in Santa Barbara California,
Gulf of Mexico aboard the MV Spree, and the Florida Keys NMS with Quiescence
Diving Services.
I have put together
a few galleries so far (listed below) , which are a small portion of my
images (very low res for viewing) , which can be purchased. The images
are being printed digitally, unless other arrangements have been made.
