Thanksgiving 2001 in Ambergris Caye C.A.

We at Southern Indiana Scuba have been traveling since the  911 attack, this link will lead to our letter about the attack.  We have been to Florida, Cozumel, and Belize, this is our Belize trip review.

We started our trip on ATA's Ambassair trip.  We flew non-stop to Belize City, Belize, from there we took a 19 passenger plane from Tropic Air to Ambergis Caye.  We left at 6:00 am on Sunday November 18th and was eating lunch on the Caye by Noon.  The both flights were smooth and checking it was a breeze.

Our final stop was Banyan Bay just outside of town.  It was a very short taxi ride or a 20 minute walk from downtown to our resort.  We had two couples to a house, the room were super, just like the web site, www.banyanbay.com.

Our resort on two swimming pools with a waterfall connecting them.  Lounge chairs, Rico's Bar & Grill, Dive Shop on site make this a great place to go.    The people at the Bar, the Maids, the Dive Shop were all great.  They all did everything possible to make our stay the best.

The view from our rooms were to super. At first this may be hard to believe but that was our view from our front window.  The Resort was very clean, well maintained, we are going back in April, see for your self.
