Thanksgiving 2001 in Ambergris Caye C.A.

The next day our diving diving began.  We met our Boat Captain and Divemaster for the week, Chocalat and ElijahChocalat (left) and Elijah (right) were both very good that both boat captaining and divemastering.   Chocalat was the divermaster for the first few days and Elijah were the last three days.  You checked in on your first day of diving, the Divemasters setup your equipment for you.  Then the Divemasters arrived with your equipment setup on the boat everyday after that.

The boat was very nice and the rides were very short to the dive site.  You would back roll in from the rear of the boat and at the end of the dive, you would swim up to the boat, then remove your weight belt, then BCD and fins.  They would lift your equipment out of the water and you would climb the ladder.  They did a very good job of getting people in and out of the boat.  We saw a lot Eagle Rays, and Nurse Sharks.
