This could be called the year of the animals. We have seen more animals and large numbers than in years. This trip to the Flower Gardens started like all the others down here. Hoping to see some nice things, wishing for Whale Shark and Manta Ray. This year, she really let us have a good view of the Mantas. Coming up to the boat checking us out, swimming with us, just having a great time.

Wilson and his close encounter with the Mantas. Mike Moore and I
were diving on Draeger Dolphin Rebreathers and had a very close encounter
with one also. We were having on the line doing our safety stop when
one came up to use and really checked us out. The problem was we
had shot our film, so we have no photos of this. This trip over all
was a great!
